In a collaborative effort between the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation and boAt, the “Freedom to Play” initiative was launched. This Talent Development program gathered teams from the NCR region to compete for the coveted title of “Freedom to Play Champions” in a football tournament. The primary objective of this initiative was to support young and enthusiastic girls from marginalized communities in pursuing their passion for sports. The Shikhar Dhawan Foundation partnered with various agencies to ensure a top-notch experience for all participants. The players were provided with nutricious meals, gluten free treats, refreshing iced teas for hydration, and healthy snacks to fuel their energy throughout the tournament. This initiative aimed to empower and encourage girls from underprivileged backgrounds to excel in sports and embrace a healthier lifestyle.
