The Shikhar Dhawan Foundation has introduced an eye screening mobile van that is fully equipped with the necessary instruments for primary eye diagnosis. This van not only offers free eye checkups but also provides free spectacles and medicines to those in need. The campaign aims to serve the most vulnerable individuals in a comprehensive manner, empowering them to lead active, dignified, and healthier lives. The LensBus, as it is known, has visited various locations in the Delhi NCR region, including schools for underprivileged children, old age homes, slums, and orphanages. The ongoing camp has already made a positive impact on more than 600 lives, offering check-ups, free reading glasses, and medicines. This initiative is inclusive and reaches out to a diverse range of beneficiaries, from children to the elderly, ensuring the well-being of the needy communities it serves.
