In the aftermath of the harrowing Yamuna floods, countless families have found themselves adrift in the storm of adversity. Homes washed away, belongings lost, and the overwhelming sense of despair paints the face of Delhi NCR today. While the weight of the tragedy is immeasurable, there’s a silver lining to this grim tale – the spirit of humanity that refuses to wane even in the face of such challenges.

Stepping up to make a difference in this bleak scenario, the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation (SDF) and Feeding India have forged an alliance. Their mission? To alleviate the immediate hardships faced by the flood-affected families, particularly the pressing concerns of hunger and malnutrition.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, these two organizations have sprung into action, working hand in hand to deliver vital relief kits. These kits aren’t just about food – they are a symbol of hope and care. Each package contains essential provisions to sustain a family, clean water to quench their thirst, Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) to combat dehydration, and water purification tablets to ensure that they have access to safe drinking water in the coming days.

We were privileged to witness and capture the moments of this relief drive firsthand. From the tears of gratitude in the eyes of the recipients to the determined faces of the volunteers, it was a testament to the undying human spirit.
