The Shikhar Dhawan Foundation, in collaboration with HMD, recently visited the NEEV Learning Centre to witness firsthand the transformative power of technology-driven education. This visit highlighted the foundation’s ongoing commitment to the Digital Shiksha initiative, which has already empowered over 10,000 students across remote areas of India with digital learning tools.
At NEEV, IFP-powered EdTech infrastructure has turned classrooms into interactive learning hubs where engagement happens in real time. Teachers and students connect through smart displays, digital content, and hands-on technology that makes abstract concepts tangible and learning genuinely participatory.
Breaking Digital Barriers
For many students, especially those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, access to digital education infrastructure represents a gateway to opportunities previously beyond reach. The Smart Shiksha initiative, which the foundation implements in partnership with organizations like M3M Foundation and Kajaria Ceramics Limited, focuses on bringing cutting-edge learning tools to government and NGO-run schools.
Interactive classrooms do more than modernize teaching methods—they equip students with digital literacy skills essential for future employment and higher education. When a child in a government school learns through the same technology available to their urban counterparts, it levels the playing field and expands their vision of what’s possible.
Purpose-Driven Technology
This collaboration with HMD underscores an important principle: technology deployed with purpose creates lasting impact. By combining infrastructure with teacher training and peer-led learning models, the foundation ensures that digital tools translate into actual educational outcomes, not just impressive installations.
Every screen represents more than hardware—it symbolizes hope, access, and the democratization of quality education. As the foundation continues expanding its Digital Shiksha footprint, each classroom transformed is a step toward a brighter, more inclusive future for students across India.
