In line with our vision to serve the community through development of public & grassroots organisations, our first on-ground campaign was aimed at building the capacity of government hospitals in Uttarakhand. A CT Scan Machine was set up at B.D. Pandey Hospital in Nainital, and a Covid Command Centre was built at DM Office, Haldwani. It was virtually inaugurated on the 15th of April, 2022, by the Uttarakhand Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat. Other distinguished guests such as Dr. Tripti Bahuguna, DG Health (Uttarakhand); Dr Bhagirathi Joshi, CMO, Nainital; Dr K.S Dhami, PMS, BD Pandey Hospital, Nainital, and Dr. Rajat Jain , President, Doctors For You were also present on this occasion. This was supported by the collective efforts of Shikhar Dhawan Foundation, Doctors For You, Give India, and HDFC Bank Parivartan. This is the first CT Scan Machine at the hospital and the local community which earlier had to travel to other places for the scan will immensely benefit from this help. Together, Government and Civil Societies can create this positive change for the upliftment of communities
