Safe Blood Saves Life, and a decision to donate your blood could be the most precious gift i.e. the gift of life to the person in need.

According to 2021 statistics, India’s annual blood requirement is around 1.5 crore units. Every two seconds, a patient in India needs blood and one out of every three people will need blood in their lifetime. There is a constant need for a regular blood supply because it can be stored only for a limited period before use.

Shikhar Dhawan Foundation (SDF) recently organized a blood donation camp in association with The Lodhi New Delhi, and Guru Nanak Dev Blood Bank at the Lodhi Hotel, New Delhi. The camp was conducted under the supervision of trained medical personnel.
